Dragon Interseas Maritime Corporation (DIMC) is a MARINA-accredited and ISO 9001: 2015-certified maritime training and assessment center affiliated with the Primary Group of Builders (PGB)

Established in 2015, DIMC offers STCW courses, domestic courses, in-house courses, and practical assessments that equip Filipino seafarers with the skills, discipline, and experience needed for a successful career at sea.

Maritime Cadetship
Ratings Forming Part of a Navigational Watch
Duration: 6 days


This course is designed to develop the operational skills, knowledge, and attitudes required for a Rating forming part of a navigational watch, aligning with industry standards. It aims to provide trainees with foundational knowledge, understanding of basic principles, and the practical skills essential for this role. Applicable to all ratings forming part of a navigational watch on a seagoing ship of 500 gross tonnage or more.

Security Awareness Training and Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
Duration: 1 day


This course equips seafarers with the skills to handle security duties, including threat recognition, security measures, and incident response, in compliance with the ISPS Code. It prepares them to enhance the security of the ship, its crew, and cargo.
Crowd and Crisis Management
Duration: 4 days


This course is applicable to all officers, ratings, and other personnel designated in the muster list to assist passengers in emergency situations onboard passenger ships engaged in domestic voyages. It focuses on crowd control, communication, and crisis response procedures to ensure safety and effective management in compliance with maritime safety standards.

Deck Watchkeeping
Duration: 3 days


This course covers navigation, vessel safety, and compliance with maritime regulations, ensuring safe and efficient operations on domestic voyages. It is applicable to all deck ratings in the support level forming part of navigational watch boarding the domestic vessels of 100 GT and above.

Engine Watchkeeping
Duration: 4 days

This course equips seafarers with the essential knowledge and skills to perform engine room watchkeeping duties. It covers machinery operations, maintenance, safety protocols, and compliance with maritime regulations to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of a vessel’s engine systems on domestic voyages. Applicable to all engine ratings in the support level forming part of engineering watch serving domestic vessels.

Safe Navigation with Collision Regulation
Duration: 4 days

This course provides seafarers with the knowledge and skills to ensure safe navigation and prevent collisions. It focuses on the application of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs), situational awareness, and effective decision-making to promote safety on domestic voyages. Applicable to all ship officers acting as Master and Mates navigation domestic vessels of at least 100 GT or 200 KW.
International Safety Management
Duration: 1 day


This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, a key regulatory framework established by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to enhance safety at sea and prevent marine pollution. The course explores the purpose, structure, and application of the ISM Code, ensuring participants gain the knowledge required for effective safety management in the maritime industry.
Maritime Cadetship
Duration: 6 months

Maritime Cadetship is a six-month training program that covers theoretical and practical sessions on topics such as navigation, safety, communication, and vessel operations. Experienced industry professionals will conduct the six-month training program and offer internships and job placement opportunities to successful graduates. Applicants must be high school graduates, at least 18 years old, and physically and mentally fit.
